In early 2024, Enjay was selected to join the Mondelez CoLab Tech program — an international initiative by Mondelez International aimed at accelerating breakthrough technologies that can transform the global food-manufacturing value chain.

As part of the program, Enjay collaborated with the Mondelez International R&D center to explore how our technology can unlock new opportunities for recovering energy from contaminated industrial exhaust air in food production.

Throughout 2024, the partnership focused on validating energy-recovery performance, identifying high-potential applications such as tunnel ovens and dryers, and assessing the impact of recovered energy on sustainability targets.

Being selected for CoLab Tech marks an important milestone in Enjay’s international expansion — and reinforces the growing recognition of waste heat as a primary energy source for the global food industry.
